SUMMARY

The film 'Kill Roo' follows the tumultuous journey of Craig Johnston, a tenacious young footballer from Australia, who dreams of becoming a professional player in England.

He leaves his idyllic life in Australia to make it as a pro footballer but the realities of English football in the 1970's test him to the core . Craig's unwavering determination to make it as a pro sees him navigate a pyscho who wants him out of the club at all costs. While living in a coal shed, he comes up with a unique 'mistake to attempt ratio' system in the clubs car park, while working as a toilet cleaner. His system catches the eye of Middlesbrough FC's main scout and ex player Tommy McGinty.

But dark forces are closing in. Very loosely based on the true story of Aussie ex Liverpool player Craig Johnston.
